Michael, You Will Be Missed (Aug. 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009)

To Michael Jackson:

Your wonderful and uplifting music has brought joy to millions of people all over the world. "We Are The World" was an amazing and unforgettable contribution to the struggle for world peace.

I remember watching "Thriller", "Beat It," and "Bad" over and over again in my room as a child, trying to learn all your dance moves and failing miserably. Dancing to "Rock With You" and "Beat It" with my friends and complete strangers at nightclubs are some of the fondest memories I have and will never forget.

No matter what negative things were said about you, I never believed any of it. Despite the harsh criticisms by others, you showed strength and grace through it all.

Your passing is a tremendous loss to not just the music world but our culture.

My thoughts go out to your family and friends. Your fans already miss you SO much. We will always love and remember you Michael and your music will live in all of us and future generations for all time.

We will always love you and may you rest in peace.
